As an architectural flagship project for durable and adaptable buildings, the House of Layers consists of a well-thought-out basic module with three layers: a protective building shell, a flexible interior, and a central core. Due to its modular construction, it allows for various usage scenarios and can adapt to the urban environment. The concept relies on high-quality materials such as clay and wood, which provide high thermal and moisture storage capacity and support a good indoor climate. The architecture takes into account a life cycle of over 100 years and aims to meet the needs of future generations as well.
