Max Dudler: Building on history

The Kunsthalle Bielefeld, in cooperation with the Forum Baukultur OWL, presented an exhibition featuring models and photographs of selected projects by Max Dudler. The architect has been intensively preoccupied with creating extensions for cultural landmarks. Two of his prize-winning buildings have stood together in Bielefeld since 2014. Dissimilar twins, they are components of a single architectural endeavour. Together, the visitor centre for the Sparrenburg and the info point for the Johannisberg Park establish a link between a cultural monument and a landscape landmark.
