EXEMPLARY BUILDING AWARD

In 2009, the Museum Ritter in Waldenbuch was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects prize for exemplary building Böblingen 2003-2009.

Jury statement:
Taking the cube as a symbol of the quadrilateral chocolate brand, its seemingly tranquil form has incorporated many very different uses, which are clearly defined by the clear building structure, both inside and out. This building has been perfected to fit all its functions, and creates a tension within the tapered walls of the individual sections of the building, creating an inimitable and unique structure.
