Just 15 minutes by train from Zurich is the aptly dubbed Gold Coast, the southwestern slope of Lake Zurich. The off-white house is reminiscent of an anchored ship in a tranquil harbour, its terraces reminiscent of ship decks with nautical handrails. Towards the lake, to the west – the slope’s steep incline permitted the construction of a three-story, despite a height limit of 8.10 metres. The advantage for the living space is remarkable: each level offers the convenience of living on the ground floor.
