The new ensemble, situated directly on the shores of Lake Constance, is arranged around the urban factory square and two public green courtyards, integrating an existing building. The varied building heights create peaks and low points that offer visual connections to the lake. The diverse building structures and typologies form a vibrant residential area with high-quality living spaces, enhanced by a dynamic sequence of open spaces. Public facilities such as a daycare center and a community room/café on the ground floors promote the integration of the new residential area into the neighborhood. A spacious, gate-like passage opens the district towards the lake park. The elongated factory square, with its urban design, references the site's industrial past, intentionally contrasting with the two green courtyards. The facades, along with the high-ceilinged studio and living spaces of the buildings surrounding the square, typologically reflect the character of the former industrial site.
