Redefinition of a thirteen-storey office building from the 1960s.
The façade of the office building is out-dated, not only in terms of aesthetics but also in its functionality. The 1960s building has had its original frontage replaced by a two-layered stone façade, taking its cues from the ground floor arcades. The large-format windows of the upper floors become wider with increasing height, while the proportion of stone decreases. Thus, the building seems visually narrower and taller than in the past, as well as better suited to the typology of a high-rise building.
