The Atelier building is the prelude to the TRIOTOP industrial park. As the “linchpin”, the tower-like structure connects the landscapes and urban spaces that converge at this point. The southern building’s trajectory creates a small forecourt in the form of a raised platform. A “sky stairway” positioned centrally to the platform divides the building into a two-storey base section and three-storey tower section and leads onto a public terrace. On the ground and first floors, there are open-plan studios or individual offices, which share a common office infrastructure. The studio apartments are grouped around a staircase area that also serves as an informal meeting area. There are four apartments per floor. The building will include prefabricated concrete elements, lending it the appearance of a “refined shell construction”. The aluminium windows are integrated in the interior walls.
