The office building on Herostrasse complements the IBM headquarters planned by Max Dudler in 2005. The building, originally planned as an "annex building", is given an independent address and an individual expression. The architectural volumes form the northern keystone of the ensemble, located between the IBM building to the south and the Campi-Bau construction to the west. With its use of stone and glass, the new building reflects the design vocabulary of the neighbouring building in a refreshing way. A three-way split of the volume into base, body and crown was forgone in favour of a stacking of the floors. The horizontal structuring emphasises the extra-high shadow gap between the floors. The building’s façade consists of ground and polished cast stone elements, arranged in T-shaped pieces within each storey.
